Jacketed Glass Nutsche Filter

A jacketed glass nutsche filter is a kind of laboratory reactor system designed for carrying out chemical reaction, mixing, washing, distillation and filtration processes within a vessel.

Volume: 500ml, 1L, 2L, 3L, 5L, 10L, 20L, 30L, 50L, 100L, for the laboratory scale, pilot plant scale.

Vessel: Single wall, double wall available

Working pressure: Full vacuum to 0.03Mpa

Working temperature: -80°C ~ +220°C

Filter device: PTFE, glass or stainless-steel sintered mesh, with pore size range from 0.1um to 200um.

Glass filter reactors are primarily made from borosilicate glass. This material is known for its excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability and transparency.

These properties make borosilicate glass ideal for observing reactions and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of chemicals.

Features of Jacketed Glass Nutsche Filter

1. Material Construction

  • Borosilicate glass has excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability and transparency.

2. Capacity

  • Ranging from 100ml small-scale laboratory models to larger pilot-scale units with capacities of several liters.

3. Filter Plate

  • It is typically made from sintered glass, which provides a porous structure for effective filtration. The pore size can vary to accommodate different particle sizes and filtration requirements.

4. Agitation Mechanism

  • Effective mixing is essential for uniform reactions and preventing sedimentation.

5. Temperature control

  • Maintaining the appropriate temperature is crucial for many chemical reactions.Glass filter reactors can be equipped with a jacketed design for temperature control. This allows for precise heating or cooling of the reaction mixture, ensuring optimal reaction conditions.

6. Inlet and Outlet Ports

  • Inlet and outlet ports for the addition of reagents, sampling and the removal of filtrate. The number, size and configuration of these ports can be customized to meet specific process requirements. This flexibility enhances the usability of the reactor in various applications.
