Working Principle

Laboratory gas scrubber working principle involves a series of steps to neutralize or trap harmful gases:

Gas Capture: The gas stream enters the scrubber through an inlet connected to the source of gas emissions, such as a reactor systems.
Contact with Scrubbing Media: The gases are exposed to a scrubbing solution or media (e.g.,liquid or solid absorbents) that reacts with or traps the harmful components.
Neutralization or Filtration: Chemical reactions occur, converting harmful gases into safer compounds to remove the gases from the stream.
Clean Gas Release: The treated gas exits the scrubber, often meeting environment and safety standards.

Lab Gas Scrubbers Structure

1.Absorption Column with Packing

A vertical column where gas-liquid interation occurs.
Packed with materials like Rasching rings or structured packing to maximize surface area for gas absorption.

2. Round Glass Flask (Liquid Reservoir)

Holds the scrubbing solution, which may be water or chemical-based depending on the targeted gases.

3. Condenser

Equipped with coil condenser for cooling scrubbing solution.

4. Circulation Pump

Equipped with a circulation pump to maintain continuous liquid flow.
If working environment is flammable, we supply explosion-proof pump, European certificate ATEX is available.

5. Control System
