The Importance of HCL Absorption

Hydrogen chloride has a strong affinity for water, making absorption the most effective method for removing it from waste gas streams.

The absorption of HCL not only reduces harmful emissions but also prevents equipment corrosion and creates opportunities for resource recovery, such as converting hcl gas into hydrochloric acid.

However, the process requires a robust system capable of handling high levels of heat generated during absorption.

This is where our hcl scrubber stands out.

With advanced design features, it effectively neutralizes and absorbs hcl gas, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Features of Hjchem Acidic HCL Gas Scrubber

1. High Absorption Efficiency

The gas scrubber we manufactured utilizes a high liquid-to-gas ratio, ensuring superior absorption of HCL gas.

The large 100 liter capacity allows it to handle substantial waste gas volumes without compromising performance.

2. Corrosion-Resistant Materials

Both hydrogen chloride gas and hydrochloric acid are highly corrosive and can degrade many construction materials used in chemical industries.

The construction material of gas scrubbers we used is borosilicate glass.

It is an ideal material for such applications, as it resists corrosion from hcl gas, hydrochloric acid and most impurities, except for hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkaline solutions at high temperatures, these substances will cause significant corrosion on the glass surface.

3. Integrated Cooling System

The heat released during the absorption of hcl is managed efficiently through an integrated cooling loop, preventing overheating and maintaining system stability.

4. Neutralization Capability

By incorporating neutralizing agents such as sodium hydroxide, the acidic scrubber enhances the scrubbing process, improving mass transfer rates and ensuring thorough neutralization of hcl gas.
