low temperature spray dryer

Introducing the next generation Low Temperature Spray Dryer—engineered to transform R&D and pilot-scale production of delicate biological, pharmaceutical, and food materials.

Unlike conventional spray dryers that degrade heat-sensitive compounds, our technology operates at ultra-low temperatures (as low as 35°C), ensuring >95% activity retention and zero moisture resurgence in final powders.

Ideal for enzymes, probiotics, plant extracts, and nanocapsules, this system merges innovation with reliability.

Basic Technical Specifications

  1. Sample Material: water solubility
  2. Water Evaporation : 1500-2000ml/h
  3. Temperature setting range: inlet 40~100°C, outlet 30~60°C
  4. Vacuum degree : –0.05~0.06Mpa
  5. Controller: Color LCD touch screen parameters display (display inlet and outlet temperature, peristaltic pump speed, air volume, deblocker frequency).
  6. Jet size: Standard with 1mm jet and other sizes are available(0.5mm/0.7mm/1.0mm/1.5mm/2.0mm, others support customization).
  7. Maximum feeding volume: the peristaltic pump is adjustable and the maximum is 2000ml/h. The minimum material volume is 30~50ml/h (depending on the difference in the solid content of the materials).

Application

Why Choose Our Low Temperature Spray Dryer?

  1. Gentle Drying for Delicate Actives

    • Preserve protein structures, probiotics viability, and thermo-labile compounds with 35–65°C inlet temperatures—far below traditional dryers (160–220°C).

    • Electrostatic droplet technology (optional in advanced models) forces moisture outward, forming a protective layer around actives to prevent thermal degradation.

  2. Intelligent Control & Zero Blockages

    • 7″ LCD Touchscreen with Siemens PLC enables fully automated operation: Set parameters, and the system auto-starts when temperatures stabilize.

    • Self-Cleaning Nozzle: Automatic deblocking needles clear clogs in real-time (e.g., for sticky sugars in plant extracts).

  3. High Recovery Rate, Minimal Waste

    • Achieve >95% collection efficiency via graded cyclone + bag filtration. Process samples as small as 30–50 mL, crucial for precious R&D batches.

  4. GMP-Ready & Scalable

    • All contact parts use 316L stainless steel/borosilicate glass for contamination-free drying.

    • From benchtop to pilot-scale, scale up seamlessly with identical process parameters.
