The HJCHEM liftable pilot glass reactor is designed for applications that require easier charging, cleaning, and discharge than a standard fixed-frame reactor can provide.
This system features a manually liftable glass vessel with tilting up to 120°, making vessel access much more convenient during batch operation, rinsing, residue removal, and product discharge.
For applications that require higher operating convenience, the reactor can also be designed with electric lifting.
Available up to 100L, this reactor is suitable for laboratory, bench-scale, and pilot glass reactor applications where vessel handling becomes more important during scale-up.
Main Specifications
- Volume: 10L, 20L, 30L, 50L, 80L, 100L
- Lift type: Manual lifting standard, electric lifting optional
- Vessel movement: Vertical lifting and tilting up to 120°
- Vessel type: Single wall, double wall, or triple wall available
- Working pressure: Full vacuum to 0.03 MPa
- Working temperature: -80°C to 220°C
- Cover nozzles: Stirrer, liquid feeding, solid charging, dosing addition, temperature sensor, reflux and distillation ports, and customizable

Key Technical Features
1. Liftable and Tilting Vessel Design
The liftable vessel structure improves operator access during charging, discharge, and cleaning. Compared with a fixed-frame reactor, the tilting function is especially useful for handling powders, viscous materials, slurry residue, and repeated batch turnaround.
This kind of handling-focused design is also discussed in our liftable vessel guide for users comparing fixed and liftable reactor structures.
2. Up to 100L for Lab and Pilot Plant Use
This design is available up to 100L, which makes it suitable not only for laboratory use but also for pilot plant process work where vessel handling becomes more difficult with increasing size.
3. Flexible Vessel Construction
The reactor can be supplied with single wall, double wall, or triple wall vessel design according to temperature-control requirements and process configuration.
4. Corrosion-Resistant Agitation System
The stirring system can be configured with a stainless steel shaft and PTFE-coated impellers for good chemical resistance and reliable mixing performance in a wide range of applications. Normal blade material is pure PTFE, while stainless-steel blade is much stronger, PTFE blade is a kind of soft.
5. Customizable Top Cover Layout
The top cover can be customized according to process requirements, including ports for:
- stirring
- liquid addition
- solid charging
- dosing
- temperature measurement
- reflux
- distillation
- vacuum service
- other process-specific accessories
For projects with more complex top-end arrangements, the final layout should also consider port layout and operator access together.
6. Optional Electric Lifting
For applications with frequent operation or where easier handling is preferred, the reactor can also be designed with electric lifting.
